The Highland Homestead Ranch

The Highland Homestead Ranch, located in Quebec’s Laurentian mountains, is a first generation family owned homestead farming and ranching endeavor to live closer with nature, not depend on the food chain and rely as much as possible on plant based medicinal remedies. We produce natural products for our local community and bring to market small, hand made batches of culinary and herbal medicinal products. From our family to yours, we produce everything from seed to table!

You want to become a homesteader as well and rely less on the system, we will help you get the knowledge needed to become self-sufficient. Follow along!

Our story

The Highland Homestead Ranch was born out of a crazy family idea to leave the urban rat race lifestyle and settle in our homestead in the country side. From our home gardens a few years ago to our artisanal farm today, we grow and forage over 60 varieties of vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers and mushrooms.

Our Vision

Our vision is to work in symbiosis with our natural environment and follow the flow of seasons to produce 100% natural products. From our farmed products to our wild foraged products we can tell you the story behind each one of them. We proudly produce culinary and herbal medicinal products from seed to table.

We are strong believers in sharing and helping others reach self sufficiency and become homesteaders. A big part of our vision is to transmit our knowledge through in person workshops, online videos, webinars and blogs.
